The Princeton Review Hyperlearning Mcat Verbal Workbook (Mcat)

Hey, so I have both. The new CARS workbook is mostly the sometime TPRH verbal book with some passages taken out (mostly scientific discipline-related topics) and a few new passages added (possibly like less than 5).

TPRH Verbal Book = 43 practice passages + 4 do tests (7 passages each) = 71 total passages
TPR CARS Workbook = 22 practice passages + 4 practice tests (nine passages each) = 58 full passages

Hey, so I have both. The new CARS workbook is mostly the onetime TPRH verbal book with some passages taken out (mostly scientific discipline-related topics) and a few new passages added (possibly like less than 5).

TPRH Verbal Volume = 43 exercise passages + 4 practice tests (7 passages each) = 71 total passages
TPR CARS Workbook = 22 practice passages + four exercise tests (9 passages each) = 58 total passages

So you would recommend the new CARS if it's available? Because personally, I'm looking for a the TPRH verbal wb for number of passages and the accuracy to the bodily MCAT. Are y'all selling your TPRH WB possibly?

Hey, and so I have both. The new CARS workbook is by and large the one-time TPRH exact book with some passages taken out (mostly science-related topics) and a few new passages added (maybe like less than five).

TPRH Verbal Book = 43 practice passages + 4 practice tests (7 passages each) = 71 total passages
TPR CARS Workbook = 22 practice passages + 4 practice tests (ix passages each) = 58 total passages

I was wondering why my new CARS workbook seemed to have way less passages than the TPRH.

I was that student that never knew why I was failing the CARS section when I would always walk out of the examination feeling like I aced that section. I was that student that ever thought CARS is something you cannot study for. I was also that student that took the exam twice and got a 123 both times. The just thing I did differently when taking the examination the third time effectually was that I skilful with more stringent time atmospheric condition and with many passages. I also took the passages and pasted them onto a microsoft doc and zoomed out to 120% and practice with this zoomed setting so that I can stimulate the existent mcat testing situation. I did information technology!!! I finally broke the 123 bulwark and got a 127. The reason why I am saying this is I was extremely depressed that my score was 123 for the longest time and taking the test a 3rd time was a lot of pressure, but I still managed to ameliorate so don't lose hope! A fleck well-nigh me…I took the mcat at the cease of sophomore year summer after 3 months of studying and got a 26. I took the new version of the mcat having studied for an additional 3 more than months and got a 502 (26 once more). The third time I took the test I got a 506 (29) and now I'g getting ready to utilise! So don't lose hope or get overwhelmed by the # of posts with 510+ considering statistics show that there is only 33% of the population getting that score and much lower percentages for scores that are 520+. Simply people who do well post then don't let that bother you. Merely continue practicing! Good luck!!!

Now to specifically, answer your question……
TPR hyper learning is my favorite resources! I think information technology is the most representative of AAMC style though TPR in general focuses too much on finding specific sentences that will assist paraphrase the answer choice like the SAT merely this is non the right approach. When looking back, yous should be reminding yourself what the principal idea of that topic was, rather than finding a specific judgement….you should be skimming that department and should know where to expect in the passage rather than endeavor to skim the whole passage to find that section. EK is also proficient just it only helps with new information questions….just even so they overdo information technology sometimes causing yous to brand multiple leaps of inference and this type of critical thinking is not establish in the AAMC tests. The AAMC answer choices take some back up in passage even if information technology is an extrapolated new information question.
